Glasgow Park

Glasgow Park is a public reserve in Waimauku.  It is home to the Waimauku Pony Club and also an off-leash dog exercise ground.  Rodney District Council increased the size of the reserve by purchasing some farmland next door, and the pony club is currently extending it's cross-country course there.

Trails and Terrain

Glasgow park is a few hectares on the side of a hill in Waimauku.  There is a flat area where the pony club have their arena (for hire, not free public use) and set up jumps etc.  Further up the hill (and across the road) there is a cross-country course.

Map and Directions

There is parking up a side street, Pollard Lane,  on the Muriwai side of the Park.  If you are coming from Waimauku, drive slowly from the Waimauku intersection, past Freshfields Road and ignore the signposted entrance to the pony club (Glasgow park).

Parking is available on the next side road on the left (no name).
