TECT Park is a 1638ha of forest land purchased by the Western Bay of Plenty Council for a wide variety of recreational activities. There is a full time park ranger on site, and local groups have signed up with the Council to manage and develop facilities for the various sporting activities. The park is strategically located 29kms from Tauranga, 27kms from Rotorua and 30kms from Te Puke. Use of the Park is free for non-profit clubs and individuals.

The site is still commercially logged in some areas, so it is important to take notice of safety notices and warnings. Check the website or register with the park manager (details above) to receive regular updates.
Opened in December 2010 this park has gone from strength to strength due to the hard work and dedication of Aaron and the teams of volunteers. TESA (Tauranga Equestrian Sport Assoc) has entered an agreement to manage the equestrian facilities and does so through Pikopiko equestrian.
