Just north of the Tasman Store on Aporo Road (previously SH60). The route takes you uphill along Dicker Road look for the starting sign post. Then it follows the ridge between paddocks (on your left) and the new highway (on your right). Look for the marker at the top of the hill with the junction with Old Coach Road (you can continue along Old Coach road which would eventually lead to Mapua) telling you to go left down the hill into Williams Road. Follow Williams Road out to Aporo Road, turn left (mind the traffic but the verge on the side of the road is quite good), go past Tasman Store, Tasman School and then you'll arrive back at Dicker Road starting point.
Float parking inside Tasman Domain, toilets, hitching rails. You can close the gate to the Domain behind you. Phone box and petrol pump etc at Tasman Store.
Tasman District Council shared walkway for people/cyclists and horse riders. Has gates but they are user friendly, follow the signs and leave gates as you find them. Great views of Tasman Bay and Arthur Range.
Please be courteous to other users, they have the same right to be on this trail as you do.
